3D Printing Machines Developed by FABHEADS were delivered to the New Additive Manufacturing Lab of IIT Madras
Fabheads, the Chennai based 3D printing machines manufacturing company has delivered the state-of-the-art integrated 3D Printers, to the new additive Manufacturing lab of Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), Chennai. The 3D printers developed by Fabheads, are marketed under the brand name, FabMachines. IIT Madras’ lab, equipped with 25+ 3D Printers, is poised to become a hub of innovation and learning in additive manufacturing. The addition of 3D printers made by Fabheads‘ technology to its facilities at IITM will provide the students hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of advanced manufacturing processes. Mr Dhinesh Kanagaraj, Founder of Fabheads and an alumnus of IIT Madras (2007-11 Batch), said that it is a great opportunity for me to give back to my Alma Mater. He stated that “As a former student of IITM, it brings me immense happiness to contribute to the institution that played a pivotal role in shaping my journey and I am being able to provide the cutting-edge technology and opportunities for students to excel in additive manufacturing is truly fulfilling.”
Mr Dhinesh looks forward to nurturing the next generation of innovators and engineers at IIT Madras. FabMachines, has garnered recognition for its cutting-edge 3D printing technology completely made in India, especially its F Series line of machines, which prints continuous carbon fiber. The integration of FabMachines-3D Printers and the C6 Slicing software (India’s First cloud- based slicing software), into IITM’s 3D printing facilities is a testament to the reliability and versatility of Fabheads’ solutions.
