Alfa Advanced Composite Technology, Pune conducts training programme on composites tooling and manufacturing

Alfa Advanced Composite Technology (Alfa ACT) conducted a training programme on composites tooling and manufacturing with closed mould technology in Pune on 17th February 2024

The course was intended to provide a step-by-step study of the new generation systems to produce world-class composites of international standards for superior, consistent quality and excellent surface finish. It has been observed that many of the manufacturers need technically upgrade to advanced manufacturing processes and require training in various areas to meet the global quality standards. Owing to this gap in the composites industry and education structure, the Alfa ACT is offering qualitative services to meet the world class quality standards with 37 years of expertise in the advanced composites tooling and process development. Alfa ACT was established in 2016 with an intention to provide technical training and support to the beginners in the field of composites, to the producers and to the buyers.

The services include, Process & Product development, Plant Lay-out, Prototyping, Quality Control & Quality Assurance, Product Design, for product fabricators and buyers. Due to overwhelming response registration was full a week before the date of training schedule. There were totally 37 participants, which include PhD degree holder, Post Graduate Engineers and graduates who had no prior exposure to composites field, and we had overall a diverse range of participants in the training program.

Training program was arranged on no loss no profit basis to promote the composites training activities so that maximum people can get the benefit out it.

As per the feedback from the participants, they have requested that the programme need to be at least for 2-3 days to learn more in details. Considering the request Alfa composite is working on it and shall come with suitable training program.
